July 31 – August 29, 2015

ProjectLives

Join us at fotofoto gallery for a look at what happens when residents of a New York City housing project are given single use film cameras to photograph their homes, neighbors, friends, and relatives. The result is an intimate perspective on the sense of community, and a glimpse into the hopes and aspirations of those living there.

Find out more about the project and the book, published by powerHouse Books and edited by George Carrano, Chelsea Davis, and Jonathan Fisher, at www.projectlivesbook.com. The book will be available for purchase at the gallery. All royalties from the sale of this book will be donated to resident programs at the NYC Housing Authority.
