fotofoto gallery is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization We need your donations to continue our cultural, educational and charitable mission. fotofoto began its mission with community outreach programs, developing relationships with local museums, art councils, schools, libraries, and camera clubs. We expanded our reach to include cultural exchanges with photography groups in South Korea, Italy, Russia, and China. Our efforts in the photographic community extended to other community activities, including support for local charities like the Long Island Fund for Women and Girls, Little Flower Family and Children’s Services, North Shore Holiday House, and Cinema Arts Centre. Our most gratifying efforts were in 2005 and 2006, when we worked with local Social Service agencies to photograph foster children for Heart Gallery exhibitions, which resulted in the adoption of several children. In addition, the gallery continues to host an annual invitational exhibition for local artists (in all mediums) and an annual student invitational exhibition. We hope to raise enough money through donations to institute a student mentorship program…free to any student enrolled in a Long Island college. We want to give them a place to discuss art, to grow as artists, to develop a sense of self-worth and pride in their accomplishments, and to discover the joy of loving what they do. Our goal for them is to become self-sustaining artists who see themselves as part of a much larger community of artists. Our hope is that they will use their skills for the betterment of their communities and become mentors for future generations of artists. The ‘Donate‘ button will take you to our Paypal site where you can make a tax-deductible donation with your credit card or through your Paypal account.
