Pamela Castelli has experienced the profound healing poetry can offer as one progresses on their personal journey. Her poems reflect both the ongoing struggle to make sense of human emotions and the evolution of the spiritual self.  She works as a psychotherapist helping individuals heal from traumatic childhood experiences, incorporating yoga and meditation into her private practice.

Anne Cognato is a poet, photographer, gardener, and IT professional.  Her work has been published in various anthologies, including Bards Annual, MudFish 25, Suffolk County Poetry Review, and Green Prints.  She was a finalist in the 2025 Babylon Village Arts Council poetry contest.

Lorraine Conklin is the Nassau County Poet Laureate Emeritus (2015-2017), V.P. of the NCPLS, PPA Events Coordinator, and Dir of Program Development for the LIWG. Her poems have been published nationally and internationally in anthologies and literary reviews, two-time winner in the Allan Ginsburg Poetry Contest. 

Gloria g. Murray’s poetry and prose appeared in journals including Flapperhouse,   Paterson Review, Poet Lore, Moment, Third Wednesday, Adelaide, and others. She is 1st place winner of the 2014 Anna Davidson Rosenberg award, Poetica Magazine, 3rd winner 2017 Writer’s Digest Poetry contest, has poetry chapbooks and a novella, CALAMITY JANE, available. 

Aronda Xystris is a former Art educator from Huntington, whose poetry has been published in the Suffolk County Poetry Review. She has always had a creative spirit, and is an exhibiting photographer, painter, upcycler, and assemblage creator of random found objects. She has been writing poetry since elementary school, where her assigned seat on class library day was near the poetry section. The small volumes of prose and poems delighted her and sparked her creative imagination. Her short stories began later, and continued during her travels, wherever she found a pen or pencil and paper. She is currently working on a series of family essays and poems.

Mary Winters is the author of Just Between Us.  She’s a member of the Farmingdale Poetry/ Creative Writing Group, Smithtown Library Writers Group, and Long Island Writers’ Guild.  Mary’s poems have been published nationally and internationally.  She serves on the Advisory Board for the Nassau County Poet Laureate Society.
