UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN

Artist Statement

Traveling through the Lake Como, Milan, Tuscan and Florence regions of Italy was breathtaking.  My intention was to originally show the vineyards, architecture and narrow paths and, of course, the waterways in the area.  It turns out that so many people had traveled the area this year and had posted the photos that I decided to print the unusual images of the area.  They are all in black and white, glossy on thick stock paper.   By the way,  the shot taken in Florence entitled “A Room with a View” was taken from the room where the movie was filmed.  Hope you enjoy the show!
