BRUCE COHEN – Artist Statement – “Reflections”
I chose the theme “Reflections” for very personal reasons … to portray the reflections of life, of how one views our humanity, our existence, and our love of our world. The lighting and the shapes in the images of lakes, ponds, city, and countryside captured my interest .. I hope it does the same for you.
I have been a photographer for 55 years and have traveled throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. My photographs are from both analog and digital negatives. I process all my images using Lightroom, Photoshop and Nik Filters to achieve the color and the warm final presentations. I’ve taken workshops at ICP in New York City, Upstate New York, and in Maine. Prior to my first solo show at fotofoto Gallery, I won several awards at national competitions, and my work is part of many corporate collections.
