ARTIST STATEMENT – 
Bruce Cohen chose this theme for very personal reasons: Drawn to the unique shapes and colors found in closely cropped abstractions of woodland nature, his images reflect his views of life during these pandemic times. He hopes his focus on lighting, organic shapes and beautiful colors invite viewers to share his contemplations of life, of how one views our humanity, our existence, and our love of our world

Artist’s BIO
Bruce Cohen has been a photographer for 55 years, amassing a rich collection of images from his travels throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. While his photographs are from both analog and digital negatives, he processes all his images using Lightroom, Photoshop and Nik Filters to achieve the color and the warmth in his final presentations.

An artist member at fotofoto Gallery, Cohen has won national awards, and his images are in numerous corporate collections. He has taken several workshops at the ICP in New York, Upstate New York, and in Maine
