ARTIST STATEMENT:

Alone in solitude, or in joyous surroundings with others, we are each a part of the larger world we live in. Intermixed and interdependent, we affect others’ lives as much as we are affected by them. However small or large our contribution to it, our stories live on after us.

When, even surrounded by noise, there is a quiet pocket of space one can find in the cacophony of the outer environment, or in the clamor within oneself.

The photographs in this exhibit capture moments of time and stillness and were taken over a period of several decades.
